its a homebrew server using a normal "consumer" internet connection with about 1Mbit upstream, so the download speed will reach, if things work really good, approximately 125 kb/sec. but normally you don't get more than 64 kb/sec. /tpfkaF

Binary file on debian sarge posted by Anonymous @ 212.59.51.197 on Oct 3 2005 3:13 PM
Hi, I have debian sarge with kernel 2.6.12.3. Upon starting the './ozone' binary (with setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to '.' previously) I get the following error message: Runtime error 231 at 08058DB5 Segmentation fault Is there a specific SDL version required? The screenshots look promising, though, and I am curious on an enigma-on-3D game ... Regards Andreas

I get the exact same error on Fedora Core FC4. I used the command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:. ./ozone

Same problem with Mandriva LE2005. I'll try compiling.

ok, let's look about the problems: first: you need the OpenDynamicsEngine Library, it IS included in the 0.15 packages but not in the 0.16-beta package. so get any 0.15 package, extract it and copy libode.so to /usr/lib. does this solve the problem? (i didn't make any notice because i thougt the 0.16-beta as an "upgrade" for 0.15. greets t.p.f.k.a.f. (aka the ozone author)
