Annoying xmas-mode could be switched off by --no-xmas command line parameter. (or by waiting for 7th of January :) from http://btanks.sourceforge.net/blog/2007/12/25/xmas-mode/

it takes too long lo compile...))

In fact, it's very addictive game!

But it freez on screen "Please, donate..." (on exit) and i had to shutdown it by typing "killall -s KILL bt"...

Is it a bug or it's a feature? ;-)

Those aren't errors. They're just text notifiying you what the game's doing.

I have managed to get it working now. I didn't install libvorbis-devel. It seems like a really good game so far. I'll review it properly after playing it for longer

I had the same problem: libmrt.so failed to load also it was at /usr/games/lib/btanks/libmrt.so. I could solve that problem by setting the library path to that folder by: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/games/lib/btanks/ Besides, btanks is an awesome game! I'am looking forward to additional maps!

This is great, but when I gave it a go there was no-one playing. Might have to get my friends together for a game.

Now if only someone would do a remake of Tanks n Stuff. That was pure awesome.

Cool game - but i had to start with --no-sound - otherwise there was a sigsegv and multiplayer doesn't work - we weren't able to connect to each other
