Ascal

Version: 0.1.1

Category: Board Games Rate this game yourself!   Average of 0 Ratings:(not yet rated)

Ascal Screenshot Ascal is a Gnome Version of the board game Lasca.

Lasca is a game similar to Draughts but with some really cool enhancements. In a future release you'll find a great description in the help system of Ascal. In the meantime the article on Wikipedia will help you understanding the rules. Ascal tries to give a great Gnome experience of Lasca for one and two players. You can undo moves, save and load games and all that on a nifty graphical board.

Is that BeOS or Haiku or a damn sexy window manager or just a theme?

I miss BeOS so much. *droool*

Oh yeah, and the game, that's cool too.

This is xfwm4 with the B5 theme from the included xfwm4-themes package ;)
The gtk-theme engine is industrial with a home-brewed colorscheme

As for the game: Stay tuned for a new rocking ai, nice and fresh graphics and polishing all around the source. Later this month remembering prefs and a theme manager will be added...
