I represent a open-source project designed to create a game engine that will have such concepts as: Diplomacy, Colonization, Exploration, Politics, Trade, Conquest, Etc. The game is called "Keewie", and is similar to Europa Universalis. Currently, we are working on a version for Windows and Linux, but we seem to have lost our Linux developers. If anyone is interested, please check out the links below.

Perhaps you should work with the Freecraft (freecraft.sf.net) team :D

Our game is very different than games like that. We are trying to simulate politics, diplomacy, colonization, exploration, religion, etc. It will be very different than any game currently out there. :)

Took a look at it, but the links at the site all return 404, and the forum requires login to even read. You probably won't catch many devs like that..

(your site contains only the index page at this moment..., so: )
What libraries are you using? Are there both win & lin -versions of it?
What compiler do you use(Visual C++?)
I always test the cleaness of my code by compiling it on both windows(gcc) & linux...
Keeping the linux version in sync with the windows version sounds like a nice little task, especially since I like games like EU & Civilization...

I asked the forum Admin to make it viewable to all, but apparently he hasn't. Sorry about that. It's unfortunately beyond my control. :|

We are still in the planning stage, so some things are undecided yet. We have some makefiles finished so far, and that's about it. For compiler, we are using Dev-C++. We really need some Linux developers to ensure this is designed from the ground up to be multiplatform, so stop on over and join in the discussions. :)
